Webinar : Women’s Role in AI and Cybersecurity

SIGGAP took part in “Peranan Perempuan di AI & Cybersecurity Indonesia” (Women’s Role in Indonesia AI and Cybersecurity) webinar, a collaboration event held by Event cerdas and Aptiknas. This event was held to celebrate Kartini’s Day commemorated ever April 21st of the year.

As some people know, there’s still a huge gender gap in Ai and Cybersecurity industries. A study by WiCys found “lack of respect” and “opportunities for career growth” in the workplace as the two major factors that contribute to the existing gender gap in the industry.

As the national hero, R.A. Kartini who had striven and fought for Indonesian women to be equal to men in every aspect of life, SIGGAP will also support and fight together for gender equality in technology industry especially AI and Cybersecurity.
